Lakewood Ranch High School

  • How long have you been attending FCA?

I been attending FCA since my freshman year one year ago and have been pursuing leadership this year as a sophomore.

  • What sport(s) do you play?

I play soccer as my main sport but also enjoy several other sports and activities including weightlifting and much more.

  • What do you want to do after High School?

I hope to play soccer in college in which I can also pursue some sort of engineering degree.

  • What's your favorite sports movie?

My favorite sports movie would have to be Goal! Which I watched on my way to a highschool soccer game and found much inspiration from the story.

  • What's your favorite scripture?

My favorite scripture would have to be Galatian 2:20 “Not I who lives but Christ who lives in me.” I love this piece of scripture for many reasons in which it is something I try to live by on a daily basis. This verse also serves as a reminder that we are not alone in this world and that no matter what we are going through, Christ is there to walk us through any obstacles we may be facing.

  • Why is Christ in sports so important?

Christ is extremely important in the world of sports for many reasons. Often times in sports, there will be obstacles and injuries that us athletes will have to face. Being able to put our faith in god and trust in his plan is a huge part of being able to overcome these tough times and come back better than ever before.
